Tour Petropolis

Located about 800 meters above sea level, Petrópolis is one of the most sought after cities in Rio de Janeiro, it is mainly a monument to Dom Pedro II, emperor of Brazil from 1831 until his exile in 1889. Emperor Pedro I, who bought lands in the spectacular Serra do Mar for a designed summer palace, the first time that Petrópolis was idealized in the 1830s. However, it was his son, Pedro II, who built the palace and the surrounding picturesque city. The idea was to maintain a refreshing refuge from the heat of the City of Rio de Janeiro. The highway that connects Rio and Petrópolis is a beautiful engineering. Its concrete bridges hover over the green and curves of the road around the mountain walls, displaying wonderful views of the horizon. In Petrópolis we will visit: Quitandinha Palace, Imperial Museum, Cathedral of São Pedro de Alcântara, Praça da Liberdade (Liberty Square), Cristal Palace and Santos Dumont’s home.

Rio Full Day

Enjoy a wonderful tour through the main attractions of the Wonderful City. The tour known as “Rio Full Day’’ begins with an external visit to the Maracanã stadium, which was once the scene of the most important classics of Brazilian soccer and received historical moments of international soccer. Then, visit to the ‘’Sambódromo’’, stage of the great Carioca carnival. After taking a photo break, proceed straight to Morro do Corcovado, in Tijuca National Park, with time to climb the Paineiras and visit the Christ the Redeemer, 709 meters above sea level, with a beautiful view of the city. Leaving the Tijuca National Park, we continue for a panoramic tour of Lagoon Rodrigo de Freitas, Leblon, Ipanema and Copacabana beaches, towards the Cable car of Sugar Loaf, one of the most beautiful tourist spots in Rio de Janeiro and one of the most famous in Brazil. The park is formed by the hills of Urca and Sugar Loaf, which are connected by a cable car, allowing visitors to climb for a fantastic experience, ending the day of landscapes and returning to the meeting point.
