Tour Petropolis

Located about 800 meters above sea level, Petrópolis is one of the most sought after cities in Rio de Janeiro, it is mainly a monument to Dom Pedro II, emperor of Brazil from 1831 until his exile in 1889. Emperor Pedro I, who bought lands in the spectacular Serra do Mar for a designed summer palace, the first time that Petrópolis was idealized in the 1830s. However, it was his son, Pedro II, who built the palace and the surrounding picturesque city. The idea was to maintain a refreshing refuge from the heat of the City of Rio de Janeiro. The highway that connects Rio and Petrópolis is a beautiful engineering. Its concrete bridges hover over the green and curves of the road around the mountain walls, displaying wonderful views of the horizon. In Petrópolis we will visit: Quitandinha Palace, Imperial Museum, Cathedral of São Pedro de Alcântara, Praça da Liberdade (Liberty Square), Cristal Palace and Santos Dumont’s home.

Christ the Redeemer and beaches

Get to the top of the Corcovado by van. The entire journey is made by van, first arriving at the visitor center, from there the climb continues with the vans from the Tijuca National Park through the Tijuca rainforest to the top of the mountain. One of the most incredible views of this trip is that of Lagoon Rodrigo de Freitas. At the top of the mountain is Christ the Redeemer, a 38-meter-high statue with open arms, as if blessing the City. After visiting the Christ, the tour continues with a panoramic tour of Lagoon Rodrigo de Freitas and Leblon, Ipanema and Copacabana beaches, with time for a bath, ending the tour.

Sugarloaf and cultural tour

Tour through the beautiful attractions of Rio de Janeiro, starting with an external visit to the Maracanã stadium, then to the Sambódromo, where the famous Rio Carnival Parade takes place, both with a photo stop. Then, visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, located in the City Center, continue with a panoramic tour passing by the Municipal Theater, National Library and the National Museum of Fine Arts. After this tour, we continue towards the Urca neighborhood, where the Sugar Loaf cable car is located. The path to the top is divided into two stages of the cable car. The first leads to Morro da Urca, the second stage lead to Sugar Loaf, with 395 meters. Ending the tour with one of the best views in the city.
